The CFAR Scientific Programs described within this section represent the merging and focusing of existing programs and efforts, based on broad input from HMS-affiliated investigators. Since these programs have been in existence for some time, in most cases specific funding avenues have already been identified. Each Program supports workshops on selected topics throughout the year. The goals and specific themes for each Program for the coming year are indicated here. In addition, a listing of the senior members and their areas of scientific expertise and recent accomplishments is included. Many of these individuals actually participate in more than one Scientific Program.
