The HMS Division of AIDS and HU Center for AIDS Research encompass clinical and basic science research conducted at Harvard and its affiliated institutions: Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI), Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), Children's Hospital (CH), the Center for Blood Research (CBR), Partners/Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), Partners/Brigham & Women's Hospital (BWH), Fenway Community Health (FCH), Lemuel Shattuck Hospital (Shattuck), and the New England Regional Primate Research Center (NERPRC). The staff and faculty at these institutions have played a leading role in Boston in terms of promoting clinical and basic science research interactions, providing outreach to persons with HIV/AIDS and community physicians interested in research, and in promoting education and training, and we are extremely proud of our contributions.
