The Office of International Programs supports members of the Harvard medical community in their efforts to pursue ethical research, care, treatment, prevention and education of people affected by HIV/AIDS around the world. The office accomplishes this by:
  • Identifying, establishing and supporting model programs for international AIDS education, treatment, and research.
  • Fostering collaborations among Harvard faculty and staff involved in international AIDS activities.
  • Emphasizing evaluation of affiliated programs, including their effectiveness in meeting intended objectives.
  • Providing guidance and support for members of the Harvard community in the design, implementation and evaluation of international AIDS education, prevention, treatment and research programs. Extending the resources of the Harvard Medical School Division of AIDS to the global community.
